So it’s been a whole week since we’ve shared a recipe. I think we were getting a little carried away with our daily posts a couple weeks ago. Let’s just relax and enjoy some broccoli with peanut sauce.
I think I would be a better person overall if I had more kale salads and fewer banana breads. I would probably be smarter, faster, funnier, and more exciting. We may never know.
In an act of desperation and in a display of my addiction to accruing “visitors” and “views” on my secret food blog, I’ve decided to increase my end of April posting frequency in an attempt to see an increase in traffic compared to March. (How exciting for my five followers!) I’m not proud of this, but I can’t resist.

Have you noticed that the term “energy bars,” is just a nice way to say “high calorie treats?” Well, it is. But that doesn’t mean I don’t love them. I just think of them as slightly healthier cookies. And conveniently, if you happen to really need to squeeze more calories into your diet, they’re an efficient way to do just that.
